PURPOSE OF HEARING - The purpose of this hearing is to solicit public input on a proposed ordinance amending Article 8, Article 9, and Article 10 of the Grand County Land Use Code ('LUC'). The proposed ordinance would designate the Planning Commission as the administrative land use authority for a preliminary subdivision application proposing more than five (5) lots, conform LUC § 8.1 to Utah Code Title 17, Chapter 79, repeal Ordinance No. 711 (2024) as a duplicate of Ordinance No. 708 (2024), and make related conforming amendments elsewhere in the LUC.
